That&rsquo;s not the case. Instead, the RR1 is based on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/porsche-911\/\">current 911<\/a>, which takes design cues from 911s of yesteryear. This is most apparent from the front, where the car has retro-inspired headlights, a new grille, and unique black air intakes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/02\/rezvani-rr1-combines-retro-looks-with-750-hp\/\">Rezvani&nbsp;RR1 Puts A Retro Racing Twist On The Porsche 911<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>This particular example, the first of 50 bound for production, features a lovely Martini Racing-inspired white, blue, and red racing livery, complete with the number &lsquo;1&rsquo; on the hood and doors. A new flat-bottomed steering wheel immediately catches the eye, as does new blue and red cloth upholstery on the seat centers. Two analog Tag Heuer timepieces have also been added to the RR1&rsquo;s dashboard. There are also new carpets, a dashboard plaque, and a wooden gear knob.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance and Pricing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The base RR1 600 is built around the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/porsche\/\">Porsche<\/a> 911 Carrera T, powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder with 600 hp and rear-wheel drive. It can be optioned with a six- or seven-speed manual or a PDK transmission. Then there&rsquo;s the RR1 750, which is based on the 911 Turbo S and has a 3.8-liter twin-turbo six with 750 hp.
