Rare Lamborghini Gets Shoved By Police After Monterey Three Car Pileup

  • A Lamborghini Murcielago crashed into a Jaguar F-Pace SVR during Monterey.
  • They were in a group along with the Jaguar and a McLaren when it happened.
  • Police used an SUV to push the damaged Italian supercar off the roadway.

At Monterey Car Week, the population of supercars is through the roof. Subsequently, the potential for damage does too. Sadly, we’re already seeing video of a rare Lamborghini Murcielago that might have driven its last mile. While the powertrain might be okay, just about everything else on the car looks like it needs attention.

The LP640 is not your “ordinary” Murcielago. Lamborghini only made a few thousand of them, and this is an even rarer Roadster variant. It’s considered to be one of the last truly analog supercars from Lamborghini. Owned by Sparq AI, the car was being driven by a friend while another employee piloted a Jaguar just ahead of the supercar.

According to the owner, the Lambo driver couldn’t stop in time when the Jaguar F-Pace SVR ahead of it had to hit its brakes quickly. Not only did the Jaguar driver end up hitting someone, but the Italian supercar obviously did too. Interestingly, the impact was so significant that the Murcielago shot its rollover protection out from behind the passenger cabin. From that time forward, things only got worse.

@realdailydrivenexotics RARE Lamborghini Murcielago just CRASHED right outside of Laguna Seca at Monterey Car Week 2025… (Yes, thankfully everyone is okay.) #Lamborghini #Murcielago #CarWeek #LagunaSeca #Crash #fyp ♬ original sound – DAILY DRIVEN EXOTICS

Officers used a police car to push the Lamborghini off the road, and we don’t just mean gently coaxing it. In one shot, we see them nudging the front of the car over to the right with their bull bar. In the next, they’re using that same bar to push the car from the rear, a section that was initially undamaged.

Daily Driven Exotics just happened to be in the area when the crash happened and captured a lot of footage. In it, we see a conversation with the owner who says the police gave him a hard time for his Montana license plates. Several states are cracking down on what they see as tax evasion via Montana LLCs. In this case, it appears that the officers ultimately let the driver and owner go without further delay.

Ultimately, we’re just glad nobody got hurt here. Things could’ve been far worse than just one more supercar gone, even if it was a rare bull.
