Let’s talk about feelings. I have a rather unique approach, which evolved naturally after searching desperately for answers to my own abusive past. I have scoured my college libraries and asked tons of questions that didn’t necessarily pertain to my grades, in order to find out how to heal my own broken heart. As with any relationship, certain personalities will click, and others will not. If you’ve tried therapy in the past, and it didn’t work, perhaps my methods would be better for you. I use a 3-pronged approach

  1.   Process emotions rather than suppressing them
  2.   Practice mindfulness daily to stay focused on the here-and-now (your power is in the present moment)
  3.   Repeat affirmations and listen to affirmations consistently to create a better tomorrow
